A woodpecker on Capitol Hill!

Tim happened to see this woodpecker from the bedroom window so ran and got his camera to try to get a shot. We’ve both heard woodpeckers out in the alley but have never seen one. We checked my Washington-area bird books, and this is just a guess, but from the pictures it looks like a yellow-bellied sapsucker. Any confirmation or correction would be greatly appreciated!

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.
