This very clever doggy costume won a prize at the Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest in Lincoln Park but requires an explanation.
A couple of weeks ago a Metro train derailed due to a faulty axle, leaving 187 passengers stranded for hours in a tunnel near Arlington Cemetery. An NTSB investigation found that many of Metro’s new series 7000 rail cars were suffering from the same axle problem, and as a result, Metro had to pull 60 percent of its fleet out of service. Needless to say, this has resulted in huge problems for commuters in the Washington, D.C., area, and the limited service is expected to continue through November.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.
