This is the prevalent dogwood on Capitol Hill. I had never even seen the Chinese (kousa) dogwood pictured below/previous, but I wouldn’t mind if there were more of them around!
This, too, was photographed at the National Arboretum in Northeast DC.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.
