In addition to wanting to see the lotus flowers open, which they are only in the morning, I also wanted to see the American lotus, which is an unusual shade of yellow. They only have a small pond of them, but they really attracted a lot of attention.

We’ve now been to the Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens twice in the past month after keeping away during the worst (or the previous worst) of the pandemic. In addition to them being stunningly beautiful, it’s nice to see so many people there enjoying nature.
