New mural depicting Amanda Gorman, the National Youth Poet Laureate from Los Angeles, reading her original poem, “The Hill We Climb,” at the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in January. The mural was created by local artist Kaliq Crosby, who has painted several murals in this gallery, such as “Lee’s Legacy” (previous picture). Unfortunately, the sun was in exactly the wrong place (as were the lamp post, bush and next-door building).

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.
