Our neighbor’s clematis actually blooms on our side of the fence.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly
unsharp.

I think flower photographs are often stronger and more interesting with imperfect specimens: wilted, decaying, rained on.

The soft, diffuse light really allowed the colors to come through loud and clear. The drops provide additional interest.
