I was searching for decorations on homes as part of this year’s cherry blossom festival (nice idea but not worth walking all over to photograph) when I came across this gorgeous magnolia in a color I had never seen before. It was difficult to photograph lower down, with Christmas ornaments still on the tree, so finally tried this shot with the house in view.

unsharp.
