Remembering Ruth Bader Ginsburg

There was a huge number of people paying tribute to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who lost her battle with cancer on Friday. She tried so hard to hang on until the current administration was out of office, but sadly for her and for the country, that wasn’t to be.

This was a drive-by shot, although we were later able to park the car and get at least somewhat close to the Supreme Court building, which was difficult because of the crowds.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

So sad, after the lost pf Mr. Lewis, now RBG ... the instant I heard of her passing, I immediately saw what the GOP will do and how hypocritical they are ... what a mess it'll be. But it'll be their last move before being sent to history as for what they are ... to be forgotten for years to come. So go ahead Trump, McConnell et al, comes November, the people's turn to speak will come, all 330 million of them and you'll see so much blue, no other color will exist, it'll be unanimous.

When I heard the news of her passing I was very, very saddened. What a woman she was, a force for good against the hypocrisy and lies we see too often now. I remember her saying she was determined to hang on to the end of this term, but very sadly it was not to be. I echo Don's comments wholly. V

The loss of Ginsberg at this time is devastating news even in Canada. The blatant hypocrisy of what McConnell is trying to do is beyond the pale. I hope the Republican senators get voted back to the stone age, along with Trump.
