Before we went to the Franciscan Monastery to look for butterflies, we stopped at the National Arboretum, also in Northeast DC. I have never seen so many cars there, even during their annual azalea display, which people couldn’t enjoy this year due to the pandemic. We walked around for a while and saw exactly one bird, a few skippers and the famous National Capitol Columns, 22 Corinthian columns that were a part of the US Capitol from 1828 to 1958, when they were replaced and moved to the Arboretum.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
