The surprise iris

I noticed right after heavy rains all day Thursday that there was an iris growing in the middle of our rose bush. I have no idea how it even got there, but it was beautiful in what very little light there was, so I ran to get my camera. We’ve always had purple/white irises in our backyard, but this one was a total surprise.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
