I found this very interesting article in The Washington Post about dogs rescued from Kuwait, just like Sahraa was http://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/2020/02/27/so-many-kuwaiti-rescue-dogs-live-baltimore-that-people-now-recognize-them/#comments-wrapper

It turns out that Kuwaiti dogs are now a thing here! Sahraa was in fact a pioneer 10 years ago.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Sahraa indeed looks like the poster girl for Kuwaiti dogs, and even appears to be smiling. Great story and so glad the plight of the dogs is being addressed.
