This mansion on the Bosporus in Istanbul was built in the late 19th century for Ferendiz Hanım, the daughter of Reşit Paşa, a governor in the Ottoman Empire, then bought by Ahmed Afif Paşa and restored by renowned architect Alexandre Vallaury, who also designed the Pera Palas Hotel. Agatha Christie is reported to have stayed here.
