The Eisenhower Executive Office Building -- formerly known as the Old Executive Office Building and even earlier as the State, War, and Navy Building – is situated just west of the White House and was built in 1871-88. It’s always been one of my favorite buildings in Washington, but now that it has so many barriers around it, I just decided to take this partial shot of the front.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
