Just a quick closeup of this monumental artwork, seen in its entirety in the previous picture. It was just that intricate, I couldn’t leave it out.
“The Throne of the Third Heaven of the Nations' Millennium General Assembly” is a complex work of art created by James Hampton over a period of 14 years. Hampton made the array based on several religious visions that prompted him to prepare for Christ's return to earth. His reference to the "third heaven" is based on scriptures citing it as the "heaven of heavens" -- God's realm.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
