Ice skating and the National Archives

I probably take this picture every winter, but I enjoy seeing people ice skating in front of the National Archives, where all the country’s precious documents and historical records are preserved. We always pass it on our way to the Natural History Museum.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

I never knew that there was ice skating here before seeing this image. A really neat capture with the warm lighting and contrasting ice. Looks like a lot of fun. V+

Beautiful photo, nice to see when people are skating. We have good professional skaters in the Netherlands, but less ice due to the higher temperature in recent years
