We haven’t been to Constitution Gardens for a while, so stopped by today to see if my friend the heron was still around. We finally found him on the far side of the lake, standing there minding his own business until suddenly he stood straight up, and it was clear something had alarmed him. It turned out there was a dog on the shore, in the direction he is looking in this picture. When the dog left, he went back to chilling in the water.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
