Grand old home in Vergennes, VT

I’m not sure what this building serves as, although it appeared to be a private home, but it caught my eye as we drove through Vergennes, Vermont, on our way to New York.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
