Standouts

I went out again searching for fall color, but didn’t find a whole lot to inspire me. A lot of leaves got blown off the trees in our gale-force Halloween winds, and others just don’t look as spectacular as usual. There’s always hope for the next few weeks, however, if it doesn’t snow first.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

This year, a lot of Fall color didn't happen in a big way here either. Not that it ever does... We had an early snow back on October 28th & then another on Halloween. Apparently, snow isn't as hard on Fall colors as wind. So you may still get a blast of Fall color; even if it does snow.
