Student and teacher

There was a 4-H club at the National Colonial Farm that was practicing for a state fair. This girl was supposed to be training the calf to move as directed, but she kept hitting it with the rope without any real purpose or effect that I could see. I felt kind of sorry for it.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

It is a cute photograph. I hope someone isn’t hitting the child in a similar manner.

Sounds like the teacher needs some lessons on training.

A well captured candid Helen. Perhaps the teacher needs some teaching.

Your narrative really puts a damper on an otherwise cute shot.
Suzanne Lanthier12-Sep-2019 19:50
Great shot but the youngster has a lot to learn.
Dave Berry12-Sep-2019 19:35
That's a shame, but you would think that an adult in the group should have been giving instruction. That's a great shot, regardless. V

Great candid image.
