We used to spend a lot of time at Al Kindi Plaza, a 10-minute walk from our home, since our dry cleaners was located here as well as the only (small) grocery store on the Diplomatic Quarter. Now there is actually a restaurant in the plaza – there was previously only one in the entire DQ, and now I hear there are many, in addition to two major hotels.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Tim is back in Riyadh for a few days, and since I couldn’t go with him, has taken some pictures for me as I was curious to see how it now looks and what has changed.
