Bringing the cows home

There was a 4-H club at the park that day, practicing for a state fair.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

We went back to Piscataway Park on the Maryland side of the Potomac River, hoping to see some ospreys or bald eagles there again, but there weren’t any of either around. There were, however, a lot of dragonflies and butterflies as well as a barnyard full of sheep, cows, pigs and chickens at the National Colonial Farm. The extensive grounds are run by the National Park Service and simply gorgeous, a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Sweet to see the young girl working with the cows. It looks like it could be somewhere deep in rural America!

Pretty cows and they look so placid moseying along. Super focus and depth of field to isolate them. V.
