Jeonggwanheon Pavilion, Deoksugung Palace, Seoul

Jeonggwanheon Pavilion was used for banquets for foreign visitors. The building was constructed around 1900 by A.I. Sabatin, a Russian architect, who was influenced both by Korean and Western designs.

Deoksugung is a walled compound of palaces in Seoul that was inhabited by members of Korea's royal family during the Joseon monarchy until the annexation of Korea by Japan in 1910. It is one of the "Five Grand Palaces" built by the kings of the Joseon Dynasty.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

I would be wonderful to get to see all of these places. The only problem would be traveling
all of the distances that would be required.. Nice capture, Tim...
