US Marine Corps vet

We went down to the Mall to see the final ride through Washington of Rolling Thunder, an advocacy group that seeks to bring full accountability for prisoners of war and missing in action service members of all US wars. The group's first demonstration was in 1988, and today -- with hundreds of thousands of participants -- was the last, due to what the group says are rising costs and "increased harassment" from the Pentagon. I'll be sad to see this 31-year tradition end.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

So much energy in this terrific capture. Your image really conveys movement along with pride of service and country Helen. The position of the flags really could not be better. Excellent work!!! VVV

A fine capture, Helen! I can't imagine how much I would hurt if I spent all day on one of those bikes!
