I’ve been seeing Mr. & Mrs. Cardinal around our garden a lot recently. I had gone downstairs this morning to get more coffee and saw the male on our fence so ran to get my camera (previous/below picture). Right after he flew into a tree, the female appeared in the same spot. I bet they’re building a nest here; in fact I saw one of them fighting to get into our crape myrtle, so maybe that’s their new home!
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
