President Bill Clinton (2006)

The only other portrait in the presidential gallery that I photographed, only because I thought it was quite a bizarre work. It was painted in 2006 by Chuck Close, who the National Portrait Gallery acknowledges was accused of sexual harassment by several women in 2017.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

More unusual colors, posted earlier:

It’s interesting to say the least and unnerving. V

Seems like the painter is borrowing the digital plastic wrap effect from Photoshop. We've come full circle.

This is certainly unique artwork, but the President needs to see an orthodontist! V

Great shot of the portrait, but not my favorite style. V

Too gimmicky a painting style for my taste. ~V~

Interesting! Looks like it is composed of glass pieces.
