This was the first time I noticed these pretty blue-billed ducks in the lake. It might be the last time, too, since the park service is draining all the water for maintenance. My friend the heron is gone, as were all but one cormorant.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
