Face-on

I think cormorants are pretty unusual looking birds at any time, but especially when they look at you head on.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Great frontal view! I think cormorants are among the most photogenic of bird species. I find their eyes and faces very interesting.
