Sixth sense

Many of you know how afraid Sahraa is of having cameras pointed at her and will do anything to avoid having her picture taken (due, we think, to being shot with an air gun when she was a puppy in Kuwait, from which she still has pellets in her body). As a result I have to be very sneaky when I try to photograph her.

The other night she was looking towards the kitchen with great anticipation to see if Tim would leave her any leftovers (and looked very cute), so I turned off the sound on my iPhone to avoid the shutter sound and went to take a picture, which she sensed and turned towards me, and that was the end of the cute pose.

Love the eye contact in this well composed candid of Sahrra. Saharra is alway beautiful and the many diagonal line created by your POV are fantastic graphically. Great shot Helen. VV

She's a smart girl. Still cute even if a little apprehensive looking here. V

yes that is normal that she is still not comfortable with it, she can not tell a difference whether it is dangerous or not she is very alert, but you still have a fantastic picture BV

Glad she still carries that sixth sense wildness - even if it is completely uncalled for around you with a camera.

Of course, she still looks beautiful, and adorable, but it is sad that that dreadful early experience has left her 'gunshy' so to speak. V

She has a bit of an apprehensive look on her face. Still as cute as can be! :) V
