We amazingly got our outdoor decorations up exactly a month to the day before Christmas. We even beat our next-door neighbor, who always goes overboard on such things (his colored lights are there year round). And our neighbor on the other side liked them so much she went out and bought lights for her own yard, for the first time in the 30 years I’ve known her. A little bit of holiday spirit is nice to see! (I see now I should have swept the leaves before taking this picture ;-))
