Yellow yellow

It seemed like there were so many red and orange leaves around, I went in search of really yellow ones, and finally found some.

*****

Fall came very late to Capitol Hill this year due to unseasonably warm temperatures until the end of October and rain all summer long. The Washington Post had, in fact, called the color "muted," so I set out to prove them wrong and also show off the Victorian houses that host the trees.

The light on the leaves really sets them off against the red brick house! V
