A different kind of lotus

I think I’ll wrap this gallery up with one last lotus, but this one left over from the aquatic gardens’ annual lotus and water lily festival, which we deliberately avoided due to huge parking problems.

Thanks for all the interest, and I have a feeling there will be more pictures from this wildlife gem in the middle of DC.
