Looking at me looking at you

I tried something different with the Sony in the park today, after an absolutely disastrous day yesterday trying to shoot at full zoom – a different focus area mode, a much faster shutter speed (even though all the birds were stationary at the time) and a higher ISO. This was shot at full zoom, equivalent to 600mm and is greatly cropped (risky because these files aren’t nearly as large as my Nikon files). It certainly turned out better than any shot I took yesterday.
