This evening I went out looking for birds (Baltimore orioles, in particular, which I couldn’t find), and when I didn’t see any, I realized that all I needed to do was follow my ears, and there they were.
I haven’t had a lot of luck at the bird feeder with the new camera (although many were just boring pictures or too similar to what I’ve posted before), so I tried a new focus area mode to see if that helped get better focus at full zoom, and while it’s a bit finicky, it seemed to.
This starling was nice enough to sit still for a while.
