Thanks to the fine photos of Isabel Cutler taken with the Sony RX10 IV http://www.pbase.com/isabel95/sonyrx10iv and the allure of a 600mm equivalent lens on a small, light camera, I took the plunge and bought it yesterday, not that I needed a new camera ;-). As she warned me, there’s a steep learning curve with it, but this was what I got my first time out with it. So many things I need to figure out, especially since it’s totally unlike my Nikons, but perhaps that’s half the fun of new gear (maybe ;-)).
