The two eaglets are really growing and no longer need to be totally shielded by Liberty from the elements as before.

The parents, Liberty and Justice, have a nest on police academy grounds by the Anacostia River, and two eaglets hatched between March 17 and 19.

Liberty and Justice built their nest in 2005 and have raised one or two young every year since.
