DC eagle cam watchers have been worried about Mr. President and The First Lady, two bald eagles whose nest is on the grounds of the National Arboretum in northeast Washington. It was late March, but there had been no evidence of any eggs – until Sunday, when The First Lady laid her first egg of the season. I must say it brought tears to my eyes, although the accompanying music and caption contributed to that ;-).
