One of a number of sculptures in Emancipation Hall, where visitors to the US Capitol gather to await a guided tour.
The best part of the tour, other than seeing the magnificent Rotunda, was an outstanding 15-minute movie on the functions of the US Congress. My comment after watching it was that it would behoove “some” members of the executive branch to see the movie. Perhaps they’d learn about how the United States is governed and the respective roles of the three co-equal branches of government…
