We took a quick trip out to the National Arboretum during Thanksgiving week to see if there were any fall colors there since we haven’t had much in our neighborhood. We didn’t find a whole lot, but it was pleasant walking around the near empty grounds on a crisp autumn afternoon.
This tree was located in an area of the arboretum called the “Japanese Woodland,” one of the few that still had some fall color.
