Memorial to John Phillip Sousa

Memorial to John Phillip Sousa, an American composer and conductor of the late Romantic era, known primarily for his patriotic and military marches. His grave is just in front of this memorial.

There are a number of famous people buried here, but we didn’t find a map of the cemetery until we were ready to leave, so another visit (with Sahraa) is in order.

Gone but not forgotten, posted earlier:

Great that you are allowed to take pictuires. In Belgium on most cemeteries it is not allowed and if allowed only the graves with famous names may be posted on the internet. I started last year with a series about graveyard sculptures and I gave up because a lot of problems with the guards.
