We visited the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum at the National Arboretum, reputed to hold one of the finest collections of miniature masterpieces in North America, with bonsai originating from Japan and penjing from China.
This tree was probably the tallest in the exhibit. Shot from an odd angle, I know, but I was trying to avoid that black frame behind it, unsuccessfully, as the tree was just too big. I tried to straighten the lines, but it looked too unnatural.
I’ll have to catch up with comments later; just too much news to report on this morning!
