A few images from an exhibit titled “orchids: A MOMENT” at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, which I slipped away from work to see. It was fairly small, arranged on an interior wall, and most of the orchids were like 6 feet above my head, but I was keen on using my newly rediscovered old 105mm lens, so managed to photograph some plants that were more on my level.
I don’t know if this turned out well or not, although I like the colors. I haven’t quite figured out the DOF with this lens and what I can get in focus and not.
