Some old park pictures from the Diplomatic Quarter. We were so fortunate to have something like 30 parks and park walkways on the DQ, offering a respite from the brutal summer sun. Although with the recent frigid temperatures in Washington, I must admit I miss the heat of Saudi Arabia. This time of year in particular was simply wonderful there, with pleasantly warm days and mildly chilly nights.
