I slipped away from work for a few hours on Thursday to revisit this exhibit since I realized I had missed a lot of displays. What a difference a weekday afternoon makes! There were no crowds until I was leaving, and I was able to walk right in rather than waiting in the cold for an hour. It seemed lighter in the gallery, yet still, pretty dark for pictures, and I found that the exhibits I didn’t photograph before were the more challenging or hard to access ones. I’ll be posting a number of new pictures, the majority of them fairly quickly.
Paul Bunyan and Babe, the Blue Ox, in Minnesota. This particular exhibit was in a little “porthole,” under a bridge that was about three feet off the ground, so I had to double over to get in there and then sit on the ground to get a picture. But I liked the ox too much to let it go!
