Tim is in Abu Dhabi on business and took a couple of pictures from his room (this view at night will follow, and hopefully one of that magnificent mosque that we liked so much). I would love to have gone back there, but I haven’t had time to renew my tourist passport and wouldn’t be able to travel on my diplomatic passport for a trip not involving a posting overseas. Well, maybe I could have tried, but the last time we went to the Emirates, entering at Abu Dhabi, they almost didn’t let us in on dip passports without a visa.
