New Alexandria waterfront

While my friend Fatih was visiting from Istanbul, we went to Alexandria, Virginia, which is situated on the Potomac River. Nothing spectacular, just a pleasant few hours out there.

Old Town Alexandria has always been a popular place, but this area right on the river has been built up significantly in the years we’ve been gone and is now a popular place for tourists.

Along the Potomac, posted earlier:

Looks like a fun place to be on a nice day. I had no idea that that Alexandria had a waterfront. ~V~
