I can’t even describe just how much attention Sahraa attracts at the hotel, often from people who have left their dog at home and need a canine fix. She certainly is milking the situation for all it’s worth, and we think we’ll have to bring her to the hotel occasionally to see her friends after we move back into our house.

I had told this woman how afraid of cameras Sahraa is, so she was trying to photograph her surreptitiously (and of course, Sahraa turned away from her).
