Quite by chance we found dragon boat races under way down river from the main festival venue. We used to attend these “haarii” in Okinawa, so it was nice to see them again, although the finish is a bit different in the States.

If this had been the boat that won, it would be a victory lap, but I liked the colors in this boat better, so it’s just heading back to the dock.
