I have to apologize for posting a picture without first catching up on comments, but I simply can’t right now. We’re still on Riyadh time after only a day in DC, and now in Portland, even more disorienting. I’ll catch up later after taking care of our errands for the day here.

What a trip cross-country, though. Between passengers truly being treated like cattle, rude flight attendants, no movies, no hot meal, no alcoholic beverages offered, incredibly inconvenient and time consuming new procedure for shipping live animals, I was simply appalled and will think twice about ever flying United again. Or maybe any domestic carrier… As luck would have it, United actually asked me to complete a survey this morning about our flight experience. So I did, pretty brutally.
