Sahraa is an incurable hole digger. This started in Budapest, where she regularly dug and re-dug a huge hole in our garden, which the gardener patiently filled in every day. Then she started digging up a planter box here in Riyadh that has a large palm tree in it. Our Indian gardener filled it with more and more rocks, so that finally stopped. Now she is digging up part of the garden itself and has already removed a huge lemon grass plant that was in her way. This is what greeted us this morning; the hole is already about two feet deep. Maybe she’s trying to get back to Budapest!
