This was a tribal dance performance at the Qassim pavilion, which Tim did a one-minute recording of (below). I hope people actually watch it because in addition to the dancers and musicians being very traditional, the spectators (mainly women in hijab), soldiers standing guard and religious police (with loose headscarf) wandering by are all interesting for a glimpse of life here.
The man on the right appears to be a member of the religious police. I wasn’t even aware he was in the frame until later as I was more interested in the musicians at that point. I assume that’s a very young girl in view, not a foreign woman without a scarf.
